Nutkin's Story
Nutkin arrived at Manaia Kindergarten in September 2007. Our friends in America - (Kindergarten Tales, in Carol Stream, Illinois) - wrote a post on their blog about squirrels. Our children commented that we did not have squirrels in New Zealand - so Cindy and her class sent us our very own squirrel - who we named - Nutkin.
Nutkin is a vital member of our Kindergarten team and has visited many of our children's homes. This blog celebrates Nutkins adventures - as told by the children, families and teachers of Manaia Kindergarten.

Great to have Nutkin visit again. He seems to be at our house alot. I hope everyone else is getting a turn Alex. You are really good at taking photos now!! We loved to hear your voice talking about each picture too. Love Mum and Dad
