Nutkin's Story
Nutkin arrived at Manaia Kindergarten in September 2007. Our friends in America - (Kindergarten Tales, in Carol Stream, Illinois) - wrote a post on their blog about squirrels. Our children commented that we did not have squirrels in New Zealand - so Cindy and her class sent us our very own squirrel - who we named - Nutkin.
Nutkin is a vital member of our Kindergarten team and has visited many of our children's homes. This blog celebrates Nutkins adventures - as told by the children, families and teachers of Manaia Kindergarten.

You and Nutkin were going very high on the swings. It looks like you had fun with Nutkin. He's becoming quite good at jumping on the trampoline too.
