Nutkin's Story
Nutkin arrived at Manaia Kindergarten in September 2007. Our friends in America - (Kindergarten Tales, in Carol Stream, Illinois) - wrote a post on their blog about squirrels. Our children commented that we did not have squirrels in New Zealand - so Cindy and her class sent us our very own squirrel - who we named - Nutkin.
Nutkin is a vital member of our Kindergarten team and has visited many of our children's homes. This blog celebrates Nutkins adventures - as told by the children, families and teachers of Manaia Kindergarten.

Thanks for sharing Nutkin's visit to your place. I bet he had fun at the park. I see lots of his cousins in the parks here. They are all very good at balancing! I bet Nutkin wants to run across the top of the monkey bars. I wonder if going down the slide tickled his tummy? Thanks again!
