Nutkin's Story
Nutkin arrived at Manaia Kindergarten in September 2007. Our friends in America - (Kindergarten Tales, in Carol Stream, Illinois) - wrote a post on their blog about squirrels. Our children commented that we did not have squirrels in New Zealand - so Cindy and her class sent us our very own squirrel - who we named - Nutkin.
Nutkin is a vital member of our Kindergarten team and has visited many of our children's homes. This blog celebrates Nutkins adventures - as told by the children, families and teachers of Manaia Kindergarten.

It's so much fun getting to see all the places Nutkin gets to visit. He is one VERY lucky squirrel! I bet if the other squirrels in American knew what a great time they'd have in NZ, they'd all be on the next plane there! ;-)

WOW How lucky Nutkin was to spend that Easter weekend with Emma. Emma is such an amazing person and certainly took Nutkin on an adventure. I can't wait to share this movie with everyone. Thanks Emma.

Hello Nutkin
It looks like Nutkin had a great time over the Easter holidays with Emma. I did not know that Nutkin could talk and is it the first time that Nutkin has been on a motorbike.
